Crown Chakra Essential Oils

The crown chakra is located at the very top of your head- actually just a little above it. It is associated with spirituality, intuition and the the mind. Its colors are white and violet.
 When balanced one feels connected to others and a higher power. There is an awareness of higher consciousness, wisdom and what is sacred. It feels like life has purpose and bliss.
When it is out of balance one feels disconnected from spirit and body, cynical or close minded. A feeling of being all alone is common. Physical manifestations include feeling tired for no reason, chronic headaches and muscular skeletal issues

Essential oils can be used to help restore balance to your crown chakra. A drop can be applied directly to the chakra or you can diffuse the oils. Creating a peaceful, quiet environment and meditation will assist in achieving balance.
The oils I like best for the crown chakra are frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood and juniper. Lavender is another good choice and is actually helpful in balancing all chakras. The secret to long lasting fragrance in any potpourri type mix is sufficient aging. You can vary the spices and oils in this recipe to suit your own nose.
