Fennel Eye Soother for Tired Eyes and Skin
Add 3 tablespoons of crushed fennel seeds to 1/3 cup of distilled water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and strain the seeds from the infusion. Cool to room temperature.
To use, soak gauze squares in the infusion, squeeze out the excess and place on the eye lids for 15 minutes. the leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and can also be used as a skin rinse. Fennel is rejuvenating and soothing.
