Essential Oils for Cancer Zodiac Sign

June 22- July 21

 

 

 Cancer, the fourth sign of the zodiac is a water sign ruled by the moon. Cancerians are greatly influenced by the ocean tides as well as their own internal rhythms. They are homebodies that are in touch with their emotions and not afraid to express them.

They have excellent memories are often the storytellers due to their love of tradition and tend to be nostalgic and sentimental. Some oils to nurture this aspect of the personality are rosemary, lemon, melissa and peppermint. 

One of their greatest strengths is tenacity which can also be one of their greatest weaknesses. While it is great for keeping family traditions alive it also can make it hard for them to let go of things from their past. Some oils to help facilitate letting go are frankincense, rose and patchouli. 

Cancerians can also be moody, defensive and unpredictable. Juniper, rose and bergamot can help counter these traits and bring a sense of balance.


 Being homebodies, it is important for those born under the sign of Cancer to have a peaceful home environment to help balance the chaos of the world. Oils to help achieve a tranquil home environment are lavender, melissa, chamomile, neroli and geranium. These oils in addition to surrounding themselves with things they love will make for a happy Cancer!
