Honey Bath Recipe

Treat yourself to a honey bath this weekend! Mix 5-7 drops of your favorite essential oil to 3-4 tablespoons of honey. Pour into your bath towards the end of filling the tub. Honey is nourishing and healing for skin and has anti inflammatory properties. Use lavender essential oil to help unwind or use sensual oils like jasmine, ylang-ylang or patchouli for date night with your love .♥♥♥

Ute Prayer

Earth, Teach Me Earth teach me quiet ~ as the grasses are still with new light. Earth teach me suffering ~ as old stones suffer with memory. Earth teach me humility ~ as blossoms are humble with beginning. Earth teach me caring ~ as mothers nurture their young. Earth teach me courage ~ as the tree that stands alone. Earth teach me limitation ~ as the ant that crawls on the ground. Earth teach me freedom ~ as the eagle that soars in the sky. Earth teach me acceptance ~ as the leaves that die each fall. Earth teach me renewal ~ as the seed that rises in the spring. Earth teach me to forget myself ~ as melted snow forgets its life. Earth teach me to remember kindness ~ as dry fields weep with rain. - An Ute Prayer

Scented Drawer Liners

Make your own scented drawer liners using potpourri and your favorite essential oil. You will need new wallpaper that doesn't have a shiny surface and isn't pre pasted. In this case, cheaper wall paper is better! ~ Cut to fit your drawers ~Put a few drops of essential oil that coordinates with your potpourri on a cotton ball and rub on the underside of the paper. ~Sprinkle the wall paper with the potpourri. Lay one sheet on top of another sprinkling with potpourri as you go. Continue until all your drawer liners are done then roll them up and seal in a plastic bag for 6 weeks. ~Brush all the potpourri away before lining your drawers. ~Use the left over potpourri to make little sachets.

Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon essential oil has such a fresh, clean scent, but I think it is often overlooked as it is used so much commercially. However the oil in commercial products has been altered to the point where it no longer has aromatherapy properties. T he essential oil oil is extracted by cold pressing of the skin and is sensitive to light and heat so store yours in a cool, dark place. The refrigerator is perfect. It mixes well with lavender, cedar, eucalyptus, fennel, juniper and other citrus oils. It has a "high vibration" which helps lift the spirits. It's beneficial for both mental and physical heaviness and helps increase concentration and memory. The dominant energy is yang (masculine, energy, heat, light or dryness)
